{"id":374,"date":"2018-04-03T18:23:15","date_gmt":"2018-04-03T22:23:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/glendakotchish.com\/dir\/?p=374"},"modified":"2018-04-03T18:23:15","modified_gmt":"2018-04-03T22:23:15","slug":"fireflies-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/glendakotchish.com\/dir\/fireflies-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Fireflies"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Last August,\u00a0 I published a story, &#8220;Fireflies&#8221;.\u00a0 But it was more than a story.\u00a0 I asked my friend, Chris Semtner about illustrating it\u2014with enough images for an exhibit at Art Works.\u00a0 Chris began work on sketches, then paintings.<\/p>\n<p>Then I asked Addie Barnhart to narrate and Keith Ramsey put the images and voice-overs together and created a film. On opening night at Art Works, the audience saw the paintings, the film and met the cast of characters that made all this possible.
